We get a lot of clients from out of town, especially due to the economy and the amount of interest from the Middle East, China and Japan. The Whistler real estate market has see a little bit of a decline for buyers which isn’t a bad thing, the economy isn’t in rough shape at all which also helps. We recommend the Fairmont Cheateau Whistler for many many many reasons, most of which make me wish I could buy a room in there. The Fairmont is also a Canadian based company which makes me proud to put them out there ahead of all the other hotels, that and they bring define the word luxury.
Every client that comes and stays obviously wants to sample more of what Whistler has to offer, so that also makes this hotel another reason to book. The hotel sits at the base of Blackcomb Mountain which means you can get on and off the slopes easily, and quickly into one of the hot tubs, restaurants or just relax in your room. The Fairmont Whistler also has one of my favorite lounges to relax in after a day of skiing with excellent appy’s, drinks and entertainment. It’s the kind of atmosphere you’d expect to experience while staying in Whistler.
